"Sports Academy International CEO Tomás Madigan recently launched the Cooperation Ireland All Island Local Authority Forum Publication: ‘Playing Fair: the role of sport and leisure in our lives'
The aim of the publication is to highlight examples of good practice across cross-cutting themes such as planning, healthy living, anti-social behaviour and community development.

Speaking at the launch Sports Academy CEO Madigan was full in praise of the report "This is a tremendous initiative by Cooperation Ireland and the subgroups and shows the huge work that is ongoing to promote healthy living and sport within our All Island community. We at Sports Academy are delighted to support launch such an iniative"

The Forum is a partnership of representatives from the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives (SOLACE) and County and City Managers’ Association (CCMA). It’s remit is to formalize relationships and encourage strategic sustainable approaches to cross-border co-operation.
During his key note speech Madigan spoke passionately about the importance of partnerships in sustaining the growth of both communities and business.  Using the example of Sport Academy's management of Muhammad Ali's visit to Ennis in September 2009 the Clareman affirmed the Forum's key message of the impact co operation and partnership can have on achieving goals."
