Sports Academy International (SAI) was formed in 2008 in Ireland by Tony Griffin and Tomas Madigan.

Tony Griffin (COO) has represented Clare for nine years at senior inter-county level in Ireland’s native game, Hurling. Three times nominated for a Hurling All Star Griffin was a recipient of the coveted award in 2006. Well known for cycling 7,000km across Canada and Ireland on his way to fund-raising close to $ 1 million for several cancer charities, Tony Griffin now brings his enthusiasm to this new project.

Tomas Madigan (CEO) has for many years been known for his speed and consistency in the Irish gaelic game of Gaelic Football. Tomas has represented his county Clare and his province Munster in the Compromised Rules competition versus Australia. A two time qualifying member of the Million Dollar Roundtable, which recognises the top 1 % of financial advisors worldwide, Tomas brings a fantastic professionalism to his work with SAI.

SAI, was created after 2 years of intense research and a lifetime of practical experience in the workings of sports teams and sports events.

SAI currently specialises in three areas of sports services. These are:

• Organising training camps for elite and amateur sports teams in the area of GAA, Rugby, Soccer and Triathlon.
• Offering Sports Specific Teambuilding to elite and amateur sports teams in the area of GAA, Rugby, Soccer and Triathlon.
